A person-centred approach

At Elevating Mindsets Psychology, we value a deep and meaningful therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone of our work together. Although our work will be guided by powerful clinical interventions, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), we see a genuine, trusting relationship as the vessel to personal growth and transformation. We strive to provide tailored care to meet the individual needs of each client.

What to expect in the initial appointment

The initial appointment is an opportunity for us to gather relevant information so we can formulate a treatment plan that meets your individual goals and needs. We really want to listen to your story and understand what you are seeking support with. We will often ask questions about your concerns, relevant background history, therapy goals, and expectations. We believe collaboration and transparency are core features of a safe therapeutic alliance. We are open with our formulations and treatment plans, encouraging feedback and shared decision-making.
